Valencia Basket returns to the Endesa League to receive a MoraBanc Andorra on a roll

The Endesa League returns to the Fonteta after almost a month of absence (the last game was on November 5 vs. San Pablo Burgos) in a match in which Valencia Basket will try to return to the winning path against MoraBanc Andorra (Sunday 3, 12: 30h, Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 2). The taronja squad will try to be strong at home to maintain its privileged position in the Endesa League, where it is third with a 7-2 in the standings, although coach Vidorreta only have nine pro players for this game. A fracture in a bone of the right wrist places Joan Sastre on the injured list for the next weeks and elevates the occupation of the infirmary to five injured players, since next to the Balearic forward Bojan Dubljevic, Alberto Abalde, Antoine Diot and Latavious Williams will also miss this game.

 

The taronja team has in its favor the recent precedents (it has always beaten Andorra in La Fonteta since its return to the ACB in 2014). And have in their roster the Endesa League best scorer, shooting guard Erick Green, that will have an interesting scoring match-up with the MoraBanc Andorra Slovenian forward Jaka Blazic.
